To effectively support the development of specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative SMEs within the industry, the China Sewing Association hosted an online special lecture on advancing the cultivation of such enterprises in the sewing machinery sector on the afternoon of March 21. The lecture featured Wang Jian, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the China Science and Technology Automation Alliance, Specially Appointed Mentor for the Sewing Machine Industry Young Talent Training Program, and Director of the Smart Factory Research Institute. Wang Jian elaborated on the policy background and significance of “specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative” enterprises, detailed key points in the application process, and explained the policy support system and current cultivation status for “Little Giant” enterprises. He interpreted how SMEs can leverage policy dividends to achieve high-quality development, drawing on the “specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative” development trends within the sewing machinery industry. The nearly three-hour lecture was rich in content, grounded in practical cases, and highly targeted and effective.
